Xda-Developers | Google Pixel 3 XL mod increases exposure time and ISO in Google Camera [Root]
Many times the hardware in our smartphones are capable of more than the stock software allows. These limitations can be implemented for many reasons, including protection of the hardware, preventing the software from being too complex, and more. The Pixel 3 has produced some amazing photos for a smartphone, but some people have been wanting more features. Two popular features for a smartphone camera in manual mode and a new mod for the Pixel 3 XL increases the stock exposure time and ISO.
This mod comes to us from XDA Junior Member Savitar, but was posted to the forum by XDA Senior Member starbase64. It comes in the form of an easy to install Magisk Module and has been tested by the OP on their Pixel 3 XL (rooted with the stock OEM ROM).
